If you want to build your eBook profits, then help your affiliates.

Jeff Johnson does this using E-mail, and the results are impressive.

Jeff Johnson sent one E-mail message with two “cut and paste” E-mail messages for his affiliates.

The first E-mail message promotes his free Search Engine Optimization (SEO) WordPress Blog software.

The second E-mail message promotes a free SEO Video.

Here are samples of both SEO E-mail promotion messages

Jeff Johnson also offers expensive prizes for leads. Of course, he will have thousands of leads to pursue from everyone that downloads the free WordPress software. Then he can follow up to push his expensive product launches, now and in the future. But the expensive prizes require so many leads that only the Big Name Gurus (with targeted mailing lists) can hope to win one. Still, ordinary affiliates are motivated to promote the product for Jeff.

Jeff Johnson’s affiliate mailing software even includes the affiliate’s tracking codes in the message, so that the affiliate only has to “cut and paste” the message and insert it into his or her mailing list AutoResponder.

Of course, it is likely that some people will receive more than one of the same E-mail promotion. But, this might motivate some folks into checking on the offer because more than one person is recommending that offer.

Jeff’s message can get away with multiple affiliates sending the same message because he avoids phrases such as:

  • “My good friend, Jeff Johnson…” (Nobody can have that many good friends)
  • “Grab this offer before he comes to his senses…” (If the offer were truly a loss for Jeff Johnson, wouldn’t a friend try to shield him from loosing money by not promoting?)
  • “Hurry because he will pull down this offer at any time…” (This phrase insults our intelligence. We know that it is designed to make us act now.)
  • “Not $9,997, not $7,997, not $5,997, not $3,997 but only for the insane price of $1,997…” (Of course, since affiliates make $997; the real value is the asking price, minus the affiliate commission, or $1,000)
  • “No fluff or filler, only relevant content…” (A ghost writer wrote it)
  • “The World’s most Powerful, Ultimate, Secret…” (A claim that lasts for 0.77 seconds, until the next “knock-off-someone else” product is released and makes the same claim)
  • “Bonuses valued at $9,997…” (Not “worth” $9,997 because that would be the “Ultimate” fib)
  • “Screen shots of real income…” (Not to be confused with “Net Profit” since $1 million in sales in 24 hours, with Pay per Click (PPC) advertising costs of $1.1 million results in a Net Loss of $100,000)

Besides, we care about how much we are guaranteed to Net, not what the Big Name Guru grosses.

And the biggest secret in eBook profits is that sales are promoted by an army of affiliates.

So, build an affiliate strategy into your eBook business, and, find ways to help and educate those affiliates.
